Multi-point lightning rod installation:
（1）Installation: Install at the highest point of the building.
（2）The bottom-up construction procedure is adopted: first install the centralized grounding device, then connect the down conductor, and finally install the air-termination device. The bottom flange or metal structure of the main tower should have two down conductors symmetrically connected to the grounding body and the lightning protection main down conductor of the building
（3）The connection between the lightning rod (belt) and the down conductor should be welded.
（4）The down conductor of the lightning rod (belt) and the fasteners used in the grounding device should be galvanized products. When using non-galvanized anchor bolts, anti-corrosion measures (such as asphalt) should be taken

Working principle of multi-point lightning rod:
The lightning air-termination device (lightning rod) is a non-inductive, low-impedance metal inner conductor leading down the wire. In thunderstorms, when clouds appear over tall buildings, the lightning rods and the tops of tall buildings will induce a large amount of electric charge. Because the tip of the lightning rod is pointed, the tip of the conductor always accumulates the most charge during electrostatic induction. In this way, the lightning rod accumulates most of the charge. The lightning rod and these charged clouds form a capacitor. Because it is sharp, that is, the area of the two plates of the capacitor is small, and the capacitance is also small, which means that the charge it can hold is very small. And it accumulates most of the electric charge, so when there are more electric charges on the cloud layer, the air between the lightning rod and the cloud layer can easily be broken down and become a conductor. In this way, the charged clouds form a path, and the lightning rod is grounded. The lightning rod can lead the electric charge on the cloud layer into the earth, so that it does not pose a danger to high-rise buildings and ensures its safety. The lightning rod transmits the lightning current after the flashover to the earth through the down conductor and the main lightning protection down conductor connection of the building, and prevents the protected antenna tower or building from side strikes and electrification. In most cases, the impact of the electrostatic field cable is less than 1/10 of the impedance of the tower to avoid electrification of the building or tower and eliminate flashover.
